Our vehicles are five-door Defender 110 Utilities (carrying up to five). They’re high-spec XS models with rugged 6 speed 2.2 Turbo Diesel engines, part leather heated front seats, Alpine Bluetooth stereo. Each have air-con and a heated windscreen.
The Landrover Defender is revered worldwide as the greatest off-road vehicle ever. Their adaptability and ruggedness combine with modern comforts to provide self-sufficiency and dependability for visiting the remotest parts of the country.
Each vehicle has the very best equipment and can carry up to five people, sleeping at least four although two adults could comfortably sleep with a small child in each roof tent as they are configured to carry either one or two 1.4m Howling Moon roof tents with mattresses and awnings and relevant equipment, depending on your adventure. Each vehicle comes fully equipped to take you anywhere you want to go – all you need is your toothbrush and some food! We also carry a wide range of equipment to hire depending on the experience you want – from Frontier stoves to keep you warm in winter to pizza oven’s, dog equipment, hammocks, inflatable kayak’s, you name it we’ll probably have it.
Safety is paramount and our vehicle is equipped with a Superwhinch 100KW and CB radio (phones may not work in more remote areas), high-powered LED lights front and back, snorkel for water hazards, along with several USB ports and a 240v adaptor so you can use your laptop if you have to pack it. With an adjustable tow bar to carry bike racks safely, your Defender can carry up to 3 bikes.
The rear luggage area is fitted with an adaptable metal racking system for efficient storage of all equipment and personal luggage with space to spare.
We’ve had an absolute blast. After initially wondering how we were going to erect the tents and finding we needn’t have been concerned, we took off to Scotland. I can’t tell you how impressed I am with the vehicle and the incredible kit. We hired the pizza oven as an extra – worth every penny. The kids had the best time ever. Thank you.
