Insurance
Comprehensive insurance is included with every hire, covering up to two drivers who meet our usual criteria (aged 25–75 with at least 2 years’ driving experience). If you’re outside this range, we can often still arrange cover — it just means the security deposit may be a little higher
Deposit
A £1,000 security deposit is taken as a card hold 3 days before your adventure begins. This isn’t a charge — just a temporary hold — and it’s released straight away when your Defender is returned safely.

Driving to Overland Adventures UK? — feel free to leave your car with us. Flying or Cruising into the UK or taking the Train? — add on your delivery needs at checkout — choose from Morpeth Train Station, North Shields Ferry Terminal or Newcastle & Edinburgh Airports.
