Our insurers require that drivers of our vehicles are no younger than 25 years old, and no older than 75 years old: they will consider making exceptions for people outside this range, but it will require specific approval, and it’s entirely at their discretion whether or not to grant it. An additional premium may also be applicable if approved.

Opening the roof tents takes approximately 5-10 minutes each, and closing takes roughly the same amount of time. You can leave your bedding inside when closing.

Our tents and awning are the best you can get. Howling Moon are based in South Africa and are made to stand extreme weather conditions. They are heavy duty tents and are extremely waterproof and can stand a battering by the winds. Our awnings perform well in windy conditions if they are secured correctly however in extremely windy conditions we advise lowering the awning and putting away overnight.

A 3-night hire is our minimum hire duration for expedition-ready Land Rover Defender Hire operating between March and end-October. Between November and March we offer Land Rover Defender hire without any camping equipment or roof tents for 1-day or more

Overland Adventures is not an off-roading company. We offer an alternative to a traditional campervan with 4×4 driving capability that allows you tackle conditions, weather and permitted roads that other vehicles can’t. All our vehicles are fitted with trackers. Any off-road driving of any kind will result in a total forfeit of the security deposit

Yes, we can hire you a bike rack for up to three bikes.
